Business confidence set to improve Accountancy graduates could find it easier to get a job within the next few years after it was suggested that the economy will soon recover.

According to the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR), businesses will get their confidence back within a couple of years and this could lead to recruitment opportunities increasing.

The recent BDO LLP Transitions report suggested that companies will not return to normality for quite some time, with the economy due to remain weak until around 2015.

However, IPPR senior economist Tony Dolphin explained that while economic growth would be constrained for the remainder of 2010, it is likely to pick up again after the turn of the year.

"A few years down the line the economy will be back to looking recognisable. We are getting back to normality," he said.

Mr Dolphin predicted that businesses and households will get their confidence back and that this will be a significant boost to the country's fortunes.ADNFCR-868-ID-19635558-ADNFCR
