Accountancy KPMG has announced that it has appointed three new partners as part of the expansion of its pensions business.
Eddie Hodgart, Lee Jagger and Ian Warman are joining the firm from actuarial pensions advisory companies as it moves into the corporate pensions market.
Commenting on the appointments, Alastair McLeish, head of KPMG's pensions practice, said that the new recruits brought the total number of new partners to six this year.
"We now have 16 partners in a 400-strong UK pensions advisory practice that is well on track to double in size in the past two years, with ambitious plans to grow at a similar rate over the foreseeable future," Mr McLeish stated.
Offering a pensions advisory service within a wider business context is proving to be appealing to both clients and senior pensions professionals, he added.
In related news, the firm last month appointed Phil Smart to take charge of its Insurance Technical Advisory Group.
