ICAEW announces new partnership The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) has announced that it has awarded accredited member product and service partner status to Syscap.

The firm, which is an independent finance advice and leasing supplier, is not set to work closely with the accountancy organisation's members.

Sharron Gunn, director of member services at the ICAEW, said that the body was "delighted" to have appointed Syscap as a new partner.

"Syscap recognises the different requirements of our members and is therefore in a well placed position to offer expert advice and finance solutions required to meet members' individual and practice needs," she remarked.

Philip White, chief executive officer of Syscap, said that its employees could be "justifiably proud" of being recognised in this way.

The ICAEW claims to be the largest professional accountancy organisation in Europe and boasts more than 128,000 members.

Established in 1880, the body says it is the "leading" UK organisation for finance professionals.
