Aw handed top technology job

KPMG has confirmed the appointment of Tudor Aw as the head of the technology division of its information, communication and entertainment practice.

The London-based partner joined the Big 4 accountancy firm in 1986 and has since gained substantial experience within the technology, communications and media sectors, both in the UK and overseas.

Mr Aw said he was pleased to be taking on the new role at what is an exciting time for the technology sector.

"I look forward to working with our clients in helping them evaluate opportunities and operationally execute their strategies," he added.

Meanwhile, Deloitte has announced the appointment of corporate finance director Stuart Sparkes to its specialist technology, media and telecommunications mergers and acquisitions team.

Mr Sparkes has a wealth of experience in the sector having worked on a number of high-profile deals, including the sale of Incisive Media to MSM and the buyouts of Ocean Media and Clarion Events.
