PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) has announced the appointment of Katie Stafford to its sustainability and climate change team.
She joins the 500-strong business unit from Marks & Spencer, where she worked as sustainable development manager for the corporate responsibility team and contributed to projects such as the introduction of Fairtrade products to stores.
Her new role will see Ms Stafford specialise in the retail and consumer goods sectors and her new manager Mark Hudson is confident she will prove to be a valuable addition to the firm's advisory team.
"She brings a vast amount of knowledge, insight and enthusiasm to support both our current and future clients," said Mr Hudson.
Meanwhile, PWC has been given the task of reviewing Prince Andrew's effectiveness, reports the Sunday Times.
The royal has employed the Big 4
accountancy firm to undertake a study of his role as the UK's special trade envoy, in order to identify areas in which he can improve his performance.
