An elephant at a Worcestershire safari park has found herself a new pastime.
Fifteen-year-old Latabe is a large football fan and has got so skilled at dribbling a football that she is more than a match for her keeper.
The pair started kicking a football around four week's ago, using a rather larger than standard ball, at West Midland Safari Park.
A park spokesman told Sky News: "There is little doubt that Latabe is honing her footy skills to perfection and seems to enjoy every minute that she is on the pitch.
"But while Latabe has added a few noughts to her transfer fee, she is staying where she is."
All three elephants at the park have differing talents; according to their keepers. One named Five shows artistic talent and the other, Jack, likes to help with heavy duties like pulling vehicles.
The sport of elephant polo is gaining popularity across Asia with the World Elephant Polo Tournament played annually in Nepal, reports Reuters.
