It has been revealed that the finance director of Trakm8 has resigned for personal reasons.

Tim Couling will step down from his post with the Alternative Investment Market listed company later in the year.

A formal announcement concerning Mr Couling's replacement will be made when he leaves the position, Trakm8 has announced.

Mr Couling has worked in the company for four years and had previously held roles in a number of international investment banks.

Dawson Buck, chairman of Trakm8, said: "It is with great sadness that the board has accepted Tim's resignation due to personal circumstances and his decision is completely understandable."

Trakm8 develops software for vehicle tracking and security and was recently awarded a £354,000 grant by the Technology Strategy Board.

It was given the funding to provide information to Transport for London regarding road tolls, congestion charging and vehicle workplace safety.
