The growth of the internet has made it easier for graduates to explore the full range of post-university opportunities, it has been claimed.
According to Jayne Rowley, publishing director for Graduate Prospects, in addition to it being easier for graduates being better able to explore their own opportunities, recruiters are now accessing a wide group of potential employees.
"Graduates can research companies before they apply, which will help them make better choices and perform better at interviews," said Ms Rowley.
"Sophisticated search technology and RSS mean you can tailor your job search requirements and get exactly the information you need to your inbox."
Ms Rowley also noted that graduates are also able to gain access to an improving number of online application forms, in addition to greater numbers of employment bulletin boards.
It was also noted that information could also be sent directly to mobile phones or Facebook accounts.
