Graduate job hunters should consider making use of recruitment agencies, it has been claimed.
According to Jayne Rowley, the publishing director for Graduate Prospects, graduates should not discount making use of agencies as such organisations can often take care of the recruitment process for organisations who lack either time or resources.
"It's always worth including them as part of a graduate's strategy. The more resources a graduate can identify, the more choice they are giving themselves," said Ms Rowley.
Noting the importance of networking as a tactic for the sourcing of new employment leads, Ms Rowley has also noted that those graduates who fit into the "Facebook generation" will not find it difficult to communicate with employers over the internet.
"As the social networks extend their reach in to professional areas, the Facebook generation will feel entirely comfortable engaging with employers in this way in the future."
