New finance director announced for debt solutions firm

Trevor Moore has been announced as the new group finance director of Debts.co.uk.

He is set to replace current finance director Richard Arden, who left the group by mutual consent, reports dofonline.co.uk.

Mr Moore, 45, joined the group when Debts.co.uk acquired the Relax Group in May 2008, he has previously managed a range of companies and held the role of director at Mortgage Talk Limited.

Debts.co.uk offers a range of debt solutions to individuals and corporate insolvency services. It made a revenue of £4.4 million in the financial year ending April 2008, which was down £4.9 million from the previous year.

In other news, fledgling FTSE 100 firm Avon Rubber has named Andrew Lewis as its finance director. He will take up the role in September 2008.

Accountancy Age reports that Peter Slabber, chief executive of Avon Rubber, said he was "delighted to welcome Andrew Lewis onto the board".
