2021 and Beyond – a free one-day online conference for the whole accountancy profession

PQ Magazine has joined forces with London South Bank University for what is now our fourth annual accountancy conference, planned for 3 February 2021.

The free online conference ‘2021 and beyond: The New Normal for Accounting Around the Global’ has some top speakers. We have Tom Scott, an IASB board member, CIPFA’s CEO Rob Whiteman, and Deloitte’s tax partner Martin Rowley on hand, along with Lord Sikka, Professor Richard Murphy, and the UK director of Hays Accountancy and Finance, Karen Young.

Professor Mervyn King, chair of the IIRC and author of the King Report on Corporate Governance, will also be speaking.

ICAEW’s Caroline Kearns and Francesca Sharp will argue accountants can help save the planet, and Richard Simms looks at money laundering.

For our roundtable we ask Mike Day of Xero, Ivor Pingue of LSBU and Clare Mannall of CEM Bookkeeping & Consultancy if accountants have risen to the challenge of the pandemic.

The event is sponsored by ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW and more.

Our virtual one-day conference is totally FREE, but you need to sign up now if you want to be there! Go to the Eventbrite page and sign up as a GUEST.
