Women In Finance Charter

We are proud to announce that we have signed the Women in Finance Charter for another year running. As the UK’s leading Finance and Accountancy job board, gender equality in the profession is of the utmost importance to us and we are committed to work in collaboration with the Women in Finance Charter to tackle inequality in the profession.

GAAPweb has pledged to improve gender diversity since the Women in Finance Charter’s launch in 2016.

Our aim as the UK’s leading job board for Accountancy & Finance professionals is to champion gender diversity throughout the recruitment process to our clients, candidates and employees.

We assess the progress of gender equality in the profession each year in our Audience Insight Report. This year we have found that significant steps have been made, with the number of female respondents increasing from 42% in 2020 to 47%. Female representation was higher in 12 of the 24 surveyed job titles, growing from 9 of the 24 job titles in 2020. However, in senior finance roles, 93% of CFOs and 73% of Finance Directors were men, demonstrating steps need to be taken to get more women into senior finance positions. We are passionate about championing gender equality in the profession and will endeavour to increase awareness through sharing such insights from our Audience Insight Report and promoting the Women in Finance Charter with our candidates, clients and partners.
