The key remit of the role will be to support the Group Financial Controller with reporting and consolidation of group accounts. This role forms an integral part of the group finance function, working and interacting with a successful team of regional controllers, to continue to add value and contribute to the global success of ALE.

Detailed Job Description
The key remit of the role will be to support the Group Financial Controller with reporting and consolidation of group accounts. This role forms an integral part of the group finance function, working and interacting with a successful team of regional controllers, to continue to add value and contribute to the global success of ALE.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller your main responsibilities will be to:
•    Complete consolidations whilst providing analysis and commentary
•    Support the continuous development of the internal management information
•    Continuously develop the newly implemented Hyperion system
•    Lead the preparation of management accounting reports
•    Review existing systems and processes for required improvements.

Candidate's Profile
You will be a qualified accountant, and have proven and demonstrable experience of finance, working within a senior team, engaging with and influencing stakeholders at a senior level.

The successful candidate will have a dynamic mind-set, and will play a key role in improving ALE's systems, processes and in driving the business forward. As a self-starter, you will possess excellent communication skills and understand how to develop internal relationships to ensure finance truly partners across the whole organisation. The ability to spot opportunities for development areas and the motivation to implement these changes is highly desirable, alongside a working knowledge of Hyperion.
