My client, a large public services organisation based in central Birmingham is recruiting for an interim Head of Finance for an initial contract duration of 6 months. The successful candidate will oversee a large finance and procurement team and provide strategic support to the Finance Director. Key responsibilities will include annual accounts closedown, budget monitoring, budget setting, and revenue and capital monitoring.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with public services experience, able to influence senior stakeholders and operate at a strategic level.
