Management Accountant

Reed Finance have joined partnerships with an established and growing professional services firm who are looking to appoint a new senior finance professional to ensure growth is maintained and the finance team runs smoothly.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a CCAB qualified professional to take ownership of the organisation's accounts and perform a sole accountancy position.

Reporting into senior management, duties and responsibilities include:

Day to day cash-flow management. Constantly monitor actual cash position, provide frequent short-term forecasts and reconciliations, and ensure banking covenants are not compromised.

Regular budgeting, forecasting and MI production for senior management. re-processing raw financial data into meaningful reports and management tools using complex spreadsheets.

Processing of day-to-day financial transactions and time-critical payments, Schedule remittances to creditors, draft and post journal entries (prepayments, accruals, acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, disbursements, etc.)

Ensure the smooth operation of routine accounts office procedures.

Undertake ad-hoc, on-demand, information analysis, report preparation, and ledger reconciliations.

Day to day accounting and administration support in conjunction with the administration and accounts team

You must be a fully qualified, senior finance professional with the ability to manage and develop the finance function. Previous experience within the legal profession will be beneficial here in addition to excellent communication, IT and organisational skills.
