Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified management accountant to join one of the best brand names in the international development sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone recently qualified who would benefit from training and development as they progress in their career. Working with a very high calibre team of finance professionals, including support from the Senior Management Accountant and Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will take responsibility for partnering with a variety of non-finance teams.

As the point of contact for the heads of departments, you will lead on the budgeting, forecasting and preparation of the monthly management accounts for your business areas. You will also be expected to provide high-level variance analysis and commentary and be able to present this to non-finance managers, alerting them to risks and opportunities they may have missed.

You will also get the opportunity to work on some challenging projects in the next 18 months as the organisation upgrades the systems and processes.
We are looking for someone with demonstrable business partnering experience in a management accounts role, who has the confidence to challenge and guide senior stakeholders when necessary.

Essential Skills and Experience:

*Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
*At least 2 years in a management accounting role is ideal
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Strong Excel skills with the ability to produce V-Lookups, Pivot Tables and ideally Macros
*Financial modelling experience would be desirable
