Description
Management Accountant
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts in a timely and accurate manner
- Calculate and post a range of month end journals, including accruals and prepayments, ensuring management accounts accurately reflect business performance
- Prepare accurate balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate back-up
- Update cost schedules, analyse costs to date and identify, investigate and resolve variances
- Support the budget and forecast process by reviewing and forecasting costs for key cost lines and provide appropriate schedules to Finance Team
- Interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial managers
- Develop business partnering with key functions (IT / Property / Marketing / HR) to provide relevant financial information to assist in decision making
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and financial controls and implement suggestions where appropriate
- Prepare information for the annual audit and liaise with auditors
- Assist with ad-hoc projects when required
Profile
A successful candidate will be close to finishing their ACCA/CIMA studies with experience with the above
