Goodman Masson are recruiting a Project Accountant / Operations Manager to assist our client develop their back office finance function for a newly developed Housing complex in central London. While this opportunity will be initially for 6 months, there is an opportunity this contract may extend.
Reporting to the Group CFO, you will be responsible for the creation of the new and robust financial controls/processes, while also managing the on-site systems integrator to assist with the seamless transition from existing systems and ledgers.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a high volume transactional environment such as a Hotel, or other similar residential setting.
Creating Resilience & Building the Role:
*Working with the systems integrator and ensuring that all billing is robust and integrates to the ledgers
*Setting up the Care Home billing
*Ensure that all key controls are in place and working effectively
*Getting the role to a steady state position & assist in defining what is required
*All monthly sales & supplier invoices
*Ensure payroll inputs accurate
*Debtor management (most direct debit so not an issue)
*Assisting Ops and HO management to understand reported results
It is not necessarily for the successful candidate to have managerial experience, and although being a Qualified Accountant is desirable, it is not essential.
