The SF Group are recruiting an interim Head of Finance for our Birmingham based Public Sector client.
As Head of Finance, you'll be responsible for all financial management and reporting processes - from the production of management and statutory accounts, through to forecasting and budget activity. You will have accountability for the effective running and monitoring of financial governance and controls, including risk management. Via delegation and hands on management you will oversee a team of 25 - 25 in finance so communication skills are key.
Whilst managing the finance function you will be expected to help develop projects to improve financial capability, knowledge and professionalism to fuel an effective finance business partnering service across the organisation. This role will likely have a duration of 6 months.
