The main organisation is founded on a state of the art manufacturing site with further businesses established over varying sectors. Due to recent high growth and the structure of the finance function there is a unique opportunity to become a group financial controller and join the finance team at group level. Focussed on quality and customer satisfaction in all areas, they remain a UK based production business and are proud to maintain the prestige behind the brand, constantly seeking enhancements throughout the organisation. Further businesses in the group include construction, distribution and leisure. The manufacturing business are looking to further enhance the reach into the Americas and Europe, they also have new business ventures in the pipe-line, seeking further diversity to the group.


Your new role
This really is a unique opportunity and as group financial controller you shall be immersed in the various businesses and the right hand to the Finance Director of the organisation. With various projects, enhancements and accounting duties you shall be truly versatile in an ever changing, energetic role. Able to change focus, and manage a varied workload you shall be a well-rounded, go-to finance lead and manage across various functions at a senior level. You will be an advanced user of excel, be system efficient and work along-side the finance director on the production of management accounts, management information, board pack completion and also the commercial detail required to further drive growth of the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
You shall have a chartered route to market and be practise trained, ACA/ACCA with exposure already in commercial business you shall have a skill-set which lends its hand to a varied workload and diverse range of responsibilities. This role is truly varied, and one which will provide the successful candidate with an exciting challenge in a business poised for further success. You shall have experience in a role which has enabled you to manage projects over various platforms within finance and be able to manage a varied workload in a challenging environment over varied sectors and businesses. With clear progression potential and further scope to develop you shall be a progressive and focussed individual looking for leadership in the near future.
