Finance Business Partner

The focus of the role is to help to build the required plan with the Regional Director to make things better, more effective and efficient and more value adding in that region.

The right employee would need to provide interpretation and insight for all aspects of regional performance, and work closely with the Regional Director to achieve and exceed regional targets, whilst also supporting the Finance team in providing accurate and timely financial reporting.

Act as a consultant that has responsibility for identifying information needs in the business and play a key role in developing systems to provide such information.

Further responsibilities include:

• Internal auditing – analysing reported failures and focussing the region in these areas
• Reporting and advising on nonfinancial metrics including headcount, labour turnover and service
• Modelling financial returns on marketing activities and identifying successful campaigns
• Forging great working relationships with the regional teams, through pro-actively meeting at regional sites understanding current regional and MD needs
• Reviewing P & Ls and identifying areas of opportunity
• Coaching and mentoring regional colleagues on making best use of the available commercial and financial data

The ideal candidate for this role must have:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Exceptional time management skills, to confidently manage conflicting priorities and deadlines
• Knowledge of reporting and ERP systems
• Strong team player
