Financial Accounting Manager

Macildowie are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with an instantly recognisable brand based in Central Leicester, assisting in the recruitment of a Financial Accounting Manager.

Overseeing all the outputs of the Financial Accounting team, ensuring that all month end reporting is processed in a timely and accurate manner.

Treasury responsibilities including cash flow reporting, management of currency.

Production of monthly reporting packs.

Review the Balance Sheet reconciliations, performed by the Financial Accounting team.

Compile all statutory reporting including Intrastat and VAT.

Ensure that all financial reports are in line with both internal and external controls frameworks. Educating the wider finance function on controls updates and their ramifications.

Contribute to the wider performance of the finance team, taking a lead on process and system improvement activities.

To be considered for this role you must be ACCA/ACA Qualified with previous experience of managing a sizeable financial accounting function.

An up to date understanding and working experience of controls frameworks is essential.

Multi currency and cash flow management experience is essential.
