Immediate start for Credit Controller 6 month MAT cover, salary £21,000 - £24,000pa pro rata dependant on experience. The role is based on the Birmingham side of Coventry only 10 minutes drive away from the NEC so easy access for candidates from both Bham & Coventry. Company is £100m turnover with high volume of local authority clients. The role involves all aspects for Credit Control including:You will have strong communication skills to liaise with internal departmental Managers. At least 2 years experience in similar role, comfortable using Excel.Chasing payments as necessary Dealing effectively and professionally with customers by phone, email and in person. Raise sales invoices as requiredEffectively resolving customer queriesLiaising with clients and internal operations managers to ensure receivables are collected in a timely mannerIssuing monthly supplier statementsAllocating receipts in a diligent and timely mannerAlerting management where risks of bad debts arise or account queries are prevalentSetting up new client accountsAssisting with the preparation of sales cash receipts forecastsBanking cheques 40 hours per week with flexible start time, 8am / 8.30am / 9am with finish time accordingly.
