Project Accountant

Project Accountant - West Midlands - Up to £450pd Ltd - Initial 8 week contract
Advantage Resourcing are currently working with a leading Automotive client based in the West Midlands who are recruiting for a Project Accountant to join their team and oversee a large programme of finance projects.

Responsibilities will include:
-Collection of information and data required to enable Global Finance Operating Committee to make timely decisions on planning, resources, funding etc
-Supporting finance workstreams and projects in the scoping and planning required to deliver all relevant finance processes
-Identifying and monitoring integration points between projects and activities across the business
-Escalate finance design issues to Head of Finance Projects & Programmes and Finance Transformation Director
-Preparing papers for fortnightly GFOC meetings - proposing agenda items based on information gleaned

The successful candidate will ideally have:
-A finance qualification such as ACCA/CIMA or equivalent experience
-A strong project background
-Experience of working for large complex organisations
-Experience of working within an automotive or engineering environment is desirable but not essential
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with both financial and non financial professionals
-Strong stakeholder management skills
