Financial Controller (No.2) for SME in Oldham

Your new company
The company are family run and have solidified themselves as a key player in their market over the last 40 years. They are currently going through a transitional period, looking to move from being a family run environment to a professionally run environment. In order to do this, a new financial controller is required to work under the finance director.

Your new role
The role will include the day-to-day running of the finance team and you will be expected to get the best out of the 5 people you will be responsible for. Further, you will be managing the cash flow and P&L, have responsibility for the budgetary/forecasting process which includes coaching the Department Heads in the production of business plans and you will work strategically with the FD to help transition into the new culture.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and possess a progressive mentality. This role would be suited to a first time financial controller.

What you'll get in return
