Urgent requirement for an experienced Fixed Asset Accountant with strong knowledge of ERP systems to assist in data cleansing before the migration to a new ERP
The role will involve a full review of the current register and capital projects together with a detailed interrogation of the system to identify and correct issues.
Key accountabilities:
• Complete a full review of the Fixed Asset Register, identifying calculation errors and adjustments where appropriate
• Review and align asset categories with group accounting policies
• Investigate items which may require disposal or impairment from the register
• Perform a review of incomplete projects and identify opportunities to close out substantially complete capital work
• Assist in the collation of data to allow the capital finance mange to close projects out to the register
The successful candidate will be available at short notice have advanced excel skills as there is a high volume of data within the register. Ideally you will be a part qualified / qualified accountant with a proactive approach to your work coupled with the ability to communicate to non-finance and finance people
