Group Accountant - FTSE Listed business - Central London
Our client is a FTSE Listed global pharma business have outlined ambitious plans for growth, via acquisitions, following new appointments to the board.
You will be part of a growing group finance function reporting into the Group FC and working closely with the CFO. You will have responsibility for the monthly group financial reporting and consolidation of global entities in a addition to management accounts and forecasting/budgeting which will take up approximately 60% of your time. It is expected that 40% of your time will also be spent doing ad-hoc project work. With an anticipated acquisition there should be an opportunity to get involved in commercial focussed work.
You will be a practice trained candidate with experience of statutory. You must have strong IT skills and knowledge of SAP is preferable. If you are looking for your first move from practice with experience of auditing FTSE listed businesses then you will also be considered.
Dependant on experience, the base salary will be £55 - £65k + bonus + benefits. This is an opportunity for a bright individual who wants to work for a FTSE listed business and enhance their commercial acumen.
Candidate requirements:
-Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
-'Big 4' trained - preferably
-UK GAAP / IFRS experience
-Available to start immediately
-Strong communication skills
-Team player
