Senior Financial Analyst

Interim/Temp Management Accountant role. £250-£300 per day in Buckinghamshire.

A big company who are a market leader in their field (based in Buckinghamshire with a £100m turnover) are looking for an Interim Management Accountant / Senior Analyst to join their fast paced finance team for a minimum of 6 months.
There is free parking onsite and a well established and knowledgeable team.

Your new role
This is a commercial role, supporting the FD and you will be responsible for the accounting and management reporting controls.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and overseeing preparation by Financial Analysts, including variance analyses and bridges, to meet reporting deadlines and provide useful feedback/explanations of financial performance.
- Compilation and distribution of monthly financial reporting pack in conjunction with Business Partners to provide financial and non-financial staff with useful financial data and KPIs as a foundation for sound commercial decision making and analysis
- Presentation/explanation of monthly results to FD/MD and other senior personnel to enable understanding of profitability
- Oversee monthly CAPEX reporting and forecast updates
- Budgets, forecasts and five year plans for the business to aid and assist accurate planning
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliation
- End of year audit queries to support the sign-off of year-end accounts


What you'll need to succeed
- Commitment to this role for the duration of the assignment (6 months+ minimum)
- Qualified in CIMA or ACCA
- Management accounting experience gained in service, logistics, or manufacturing
- 2+ years experience in a similar management accounts role.
- An advanced user of Excel
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, with both financial and non financial staff
- Available to start work within a couple of weeks
