Financial Controller

Our established local client has an exciting requirement for a commercial and proven FC to oversee a small team whilst delivering robust and timely management and financial accounting for the company's operations. This role will suit a qualified accountant who has first class technical financial accounting skills which are likely to have been gained in practice originally. Responsibilities include detailed monthly/annual management accounting, VAT, budgets and forecasting, balance sheet recs , contracts management and process improvements. Previous experience with systems improvements advantageous and confident, engaging communication skills essential. Strong IT skills including Sage and Excel required.
