Nigel Wright are delighted to be working in partnership with a global organisation who require a Finance Manager to lead a small team in their corporate offices in the North East of England.
Finance Manager - Job Description
The purpose of your role is to manage all financial accounting, statutory reporting and tax accounting for the businesses operations in Germany.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will have day to day responsibility for managing your team who are a culmination of experienced qualified and less experienced, part-qualified accountants.
The successful candidate will have trained with one of the top tier firms of Accountants in Germany or the UK and speak fluent German and English. You will also have dealt with the more complex financial accounting issues and have strong German GAAP experience, along with the ability to effectively manage and develop people.

The North East of England boasts the historic city of Durham, with its famous University, Romanesque Cathedral and Norman Castle. The Cities of York and Newcastle are within an hour’s drive and access to London or Edinburgh is only 2.5 hours by train!
