Finance Analyst

Robertson Bell are recruiting for a truly fantastic opportunity. Our client is a leading housing association with a turnover of several hundred million pounds based in London. This well-known organisation is currently going through a significant amount of change and growth and as a result are looking for a Finance Analyst to join their fast paced and exciting team.

This is a newly created role and our client would like to give the opportunity to someone who is looking to progress their career in an organisation that promotes staff development.

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for analysing risk and reviewing a portfolio of development projects, report variances and make recommendations for corrective actions. Assist in the preparation of management and statutory accounts and KPI's. Produce quarterly cost variance reports, full scheme appraisals/variance analysis for each completion and final post completion audits after each scheme. Create and enhance financial models and tools to support the business as a whole and advice staff regarding VAT.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role for a large, complex organisation. It is key that the candidate has advanced MS Excel skills and be able to interpret complex financial data.
