Interim Internal Controls Analyst

Your new company
You will be working for a fast paced manufacturer in the South Wales area who are at the forefront of material development and product performance, whilst ensuring environmental sustainability throughout their products and business cycles.

Your new role
This is a 6 month FTC for a Maternity cover. You will be charged with supporting the Head of Internal Control in developing, maintaining, and enhancing a culture of effective and efficient financial internal control throughout the organisation.
You will ensure compliance with the Company's ICFR framework, including Risk Assessment. You will be working with process owners and department managers to develop, implement, monitor, and manage the Company's compliance and internal control requirements, Ensure that all Balance sheet and P&L impacts via control weaknesses are investigated and resolved, to ensure that accounting clarity is improved month on month and you will Audit ongoing processes to assure continued compliance.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be fully qualified ( ACA, ACCA or CIMA), have a background in manufacturing and aim for 100% accuracy in everything you do. Have an analytical mind-set, able to work to strict deadlines and have 80% of your Finance career in Audit. You will need a full and clean driving licence, as the role will require 30 - 50% of your role travelling on a national basis (you will be using a company car)
