Macildowie Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join a brand name brand business based close to Loughborough. Working at the company's head office, this Financial Analyst role is commutable from most areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham and Derby.
Reporting to the one of the Financial Controllers, the Financial Analyst role encompasses Management Accounting, Financial Analysis and supporting the business with sound commercial advice. You will produce monthly management accountants for one of the business areas including the monthly board pack - reporting on budgets to actuals, work in progress and kpi reporting. The role has a significant commercial element as you will be the 'go to' person in finance for one of the business areas - you will support by providing sound financial advice, producing well informed business analysis and delivering it to the business in an effective way. The role is a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking to add real measurable value to the company.
The client is keen to hear from candidates who can be either in the later stages of the CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification or who are newly qualified. You will ideally be degree educated and have at least three years experience of working within a busy accounting function. The client is keen to hear from candidates who are really passionate about accounting and keen to make a difference. You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to challenge when required. The role offers a salary range from £30,000 to £35,000 plus a generous benefits package (A study package is available if required)
