Manufacturing division of a Blue-Chip, high-growth £multi-bn Group is recruiting a Finance Manager to support a key operational area.
Reporting into Divisional Director the role forms part of a wider support team; it will take responsibility for an £80million operational budget and manage a team of 4. The role will focus on improving the monthly management reporting, as well as producing and managing budgets/forecasts and challenging operational managers on overhead and project costs. It will also work on driving efficiency’s and performance improvements within the operational areas under its remit.
Applicants must be qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA and ideally have some management/mentoring experience. In addition some budget management experience would be ideal, but more important strong commercial acumen and an ability to engage, work with and educate senior managers from a range of non-finance backgrounds.
