A well established organisation in the Honiton area is currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to start immediately. This is a permanent opportunity.
Assisting the Finance Manger, this is a varied role and will involve duties across sales ledger, purchase ledger and payroll.
Specific duties will include:
-Receiving purchase invoices and creating sales invoices from these
-Maintaining an excel log of invoices
-Entering all purchase invoices onto Sage
-Adding new supplier accounts and checking VAT codes are correct
-Ensuring external purchase invoices are approved
-Making payments to suppliers
-Reconciling bank accounts on Sage
-Processing weekly payroll
-Other duties as required
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a similar role, a good working knowledge of excel and a positive, can-do attitude.
