Robertson Bell finance are recruiting on behalf of a £150m+ turnover Southampton based Group, who have a newly created, exciting role for a Finance Business Partner to take the financial lead in a 4-5 year transformation project. This is a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of the group.

The Finance Business Partner will report into the Head of Financial Planning, who themselves have a strong commercial background and will give you the guidance and support needed to develop in this role. Main responsibilities will include; leading on the provision of financial information related to the transformation project, being the main point of contact for; Senior Management, Functional Heads, Executive Team and transformation Directors. Devising business wide pricing models inc reviewing of policies. Supporting international tender submissions and contract negotiations.
In addition, you will be the person who drives the decision support function and leads on the service culture when dealing with operational business units. The successful candidate therefore will not be stuck in a back room with their head in spread sheets. You will be leading on management information, lead on the production and analysis of the project budget, coordinate the analysis of variances and attend transformation project meetings.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant and will have the ability to build rapport in a warm and engaging, approachable but challenging manner.
