Internal Audit Manager
Robert Half Finance and Accountancy are hiring for an Internal Audit Manager with a leading corporate business based in Peterborough. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Reporting into the Internal Audit Director, the Internal Audit Manager will fulfil a group-wide role focusing on financial and operational assurance.
The internal audit manager will work within high-class audit team of 5-6 people and will have responsibility for mentoring more junior colleagues as well as deputizing for the Head of Audit when required.
- Lead individual audit engagements across multiple disciplines and business units in order to deliver against the annual audit plan.
- Complete comprehensive and clear audit reports and present to senior management and key internal stakeholders.- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the whole business;
-Ensure the audit team is well-known and maximize the level of engagement with audit from different departments.
- Identification of areas of general, financial and operational risk and communication of these risks to the business along with plans about how to mitigate them
The company are looking to hire an experienced audit professional with prior experience from working in a large practice or from working in the internal audit function of a corporate business.
It is beneficial to hold a professional audit or accounting qualification (CIA / IIA / ACA / ACCA / CIMA) - But it is not strictly required as you may be qualified by experience.
It is necessary to be a strong communicator, an effective team-player and to have a high level of curiosity and attention to detail.

Salary & Benefits
Salary is likely to be in the region of £40,000 to £50,000 with bonus and benefits on top, but this may be flexible for an extremely well-suited applicant.
