FINANCE MANAGER

Our client is a fast-expanding retailer with an international presence and a fast-growing membership database.

Your new role
Due to this growth they are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to take responsibility for supporting the Managing Director in running the UK, Europe and US business and to support the central finance team to ensure the complete control and accountability of the organisations financial transactions in the UK, Europe and US. Responsibilities will include: preparing the monthly P&L reporting, budgeting & forecasting, variance analysis, cash management, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, preparation of a business review presentation pack, financial analytics and working on ad-hoc projects as required. Highly varied, you would be managing multiple finance workstreams and business partnering operational colleagues in the UK and finance colleagues and board directors on an international level. This position is working in a high volume, fast moving environment and will be covering a wide range of accountabilities.

What you'll need to succeed
Applicants must be fully qualified with a minimum of 3 years post qualified accounting experience in FMCG, retail or distribution. International exposure is ideal along with excellent business partnering skills. It is also essential that you have worked for a medium to large set up and are happy to travel each fortnight down to the site in London alongside being based in Corby. Occasional international travel will also be required. Personal qualities required include enthusiasm, self-motivation, strong interpersonal skills and a confidence in working well with senior management.
