Finance Business Partner

Robertson Bell are currently recruiting Finance Business Partners. Our client is a large specialised Government Department who are undergoing an exciting period of growth and change and therefore looking to expand the Business partnering team. These opportunities are on an initial 3/6-month interim contract with a strong possibility of extension.

As a Finance Business Partner you are responsible for Business partnering across the whole of the organisation. You will be expected to be able to produce the monthly management accounting packs; forecasting, budgeting as well as being able to communicate effectively to colleagues and senior directors in finance and within the wider business. The successful candidate must be confident in being able to operate at a senior level and to be able to challenge stakeholders in suggesting ideas for better results/future business plans in order to make key commercial decisions moving forward.

The successful candidate will either be a CCAB qualified accountant or part qualified that is actively studying towards that qualification. You must demonstrate having a successful track record operating in a Business Partnering role within large organisations with a public sector background favorable however not essential. Having a strong personality is the most important factor for these roles, you will be enthusiastic and personable with excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all level, yet still be head strong and get your point across in an effective manner. You must be able to plan and prioritise your workload and work to tight deadlines.
