An exciting opportunity has arisen at a fast growing B2C business based in Birmingham. Working directly for the finance director the Head of Accounting along with their team will be responsible for the delivery of timely and accurate statutory and management accounts and statutory returns and also the management of the transactional and treasury function. In addition you will need to provide valuable and insightful financial and performance reporting and analysis to the Board and wider business, this will include financial modelling and analysis to aid Business decisions. On this wide ranging role you will need to demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills across the business. You will be a qualified accountant with strong technical skills having ideally had experience in a audit firm at some stage of your career. Finally experience of working in a fast paced environment with high volume of customer such as retail or utilities will be of significant advantage.
