Financial Controller (Part TIme)

My client, a bespoke luxury travel company based on the outskirts of Exeter, are recruiting for a technically astute, qualified accountant to join their dynamic and exciting business on a part time basis. You will possess the desire to add value to an already high performing team of people, providing insights on performance while remaining flexible and hands-on.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

• Monthly management accounts
• Annual budgets
• VAT returns
• Year-end statutory work and audit file preparation
• Compliance reporting
• Overhead invoice processing
• Account reconciliations

You will be a fully qualified accountant, ideally with a technical background and a sound knowledge of VAT and its various schemes. Ideally you will have experience of month end reporting, taking ownership of the numbers and be able to explain any monthly variances to non-finance personnel in detail. Exposure to more advanced computerised finance systems and the use of Excel Add-ins to extract data and report on the accounts would be beneficial.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (Pro Rata) DOE
