Accountant

Butler Rose is working with a growing Accountancy firm in Southampton with the appointment of a qualified Accountant who will lead and be responsible for a varied client portfolio. Joining an established team this job role represents an excellent visible and influential opportunity within a forward thinking and ambitious practice, reporting directly into the Director.

In order to be successful in your application you will be a fully qualified Accountant and possess a proven track record in accounts production and tax preparation gained within an Accountancy firm. You will be comfortable in developing and maintaining client relationships, and be able to communicate effectively across all levels and varying audiences both internally and externally.

This hands on Client Manager role will see you as the visible point of contact for clients. You will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of timely accounts and tax returns for a varying client base, whilst you will also be reviewing and supporting the work of the junior members of the accounting team to ensure accuracy and that those deadlines are met.
