Our client is looking to recruit an Site Finance Manager to manage all aspects of Finance at its Wakefield site. Reporting to the General Manager the Financial Controller will be a key member of the management team, providing meaningful information, insightful analysis and appropriate support and challenge to the wider business.

The Financial Manager will manage a team of two staff locally and develop close working relationships with the wider finance community at the head office and across other sites. The remit will include: Management and delivery of the annual budget, ensure the site finance team achieves agreed goals and targets, deliver timely and accurate reporting on site financial performance, develop financial procedures to improve reporting and maintain compliance, drive financial performance of the site as a business leader within the management team.

The ideal candidate will be ACMA qualified or equivalent with strong general knowledge of all aspects of finance gained in a managerial role. You must be comfortable working with both finance and non finance across all levels within an organisation and committed to delivering high levels of customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Strong IT skills including Excel and SAP would be desirable and experience in the manufacturing sector would be preferred.
