Finance Manager
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
Location: London
Type: Permanent
Our client is a well-known specialist within the sporting industry. With the current growth of the business a new role has opened up and the tight knit team is looking for a Finance Manager. This is a rare opportunity to join an affluent and highly regarded operational finance team in a broad role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the day to day operations of the finance team
- Accurately recording and reporting the financial position of the business to the Board
- Monthly management of accounts and associated report to the board
- Budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting
- Assist Financial Accounting team with statutory accounts and reporting
- Preparing annual accounts and longer term Finance Business Plans
- Providing financial advice throughout all areas of the business
- Staff management / development
The ideal candidate:
- Capable and confident Qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or QBE
- Minimum of 5 years' experience
- At least 2 years' management experience
- Able to demonstrate full end-to-end management accounts responsibility and hold strong report writing skills
- Be familiar with partial VAT exemptions
- Able to interact confidently with a broad range of colleagues
