We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to become a key team player for our client; a large well known retailer. The successful candidate will be supporting UK&I FP&A Manager with the delivery of key reporting, planning and analysis processes. Candidates showing excellent potential will be given the opportunity to progress and develop.
Key responsibilities;
- Maximise business opportunities through analysis and insight
- Drive continuous improvement across Group financial systems, controls, processes and reporting
- Preparation of the 3 year plan, annual budget and quarterly forecast
- Systems development
- Ensuring reporting summaries are complete and reflect best practice standards, following up with relevant parties where required.
The ideal candidate will be Newly Qualified or Finalist ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA, who is able to demonstrate reporting and planning experience in a medium to large corporate entity. Experience of writing and reviewing financial and commercial commentary for both finance and non-finance audiences.
To be considered for this role you will have experience of working in a multi-site business and the ability to manage tight deadlines in a fluid environment. Experience in the retail, leisure or hospitality sector would be advantageous.
