Position Description

Software business are seeking a disciplined and experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner, reporting to the Head of FP&A. As a member of the Finance team, the Commercial Finance Business Partner will be responsible for to manage the financial analysis, planning and budget control processes, for the global Sales and Partners organizations. In addition, this position will have regional responsibility in EMEA, to lead the financial support for deals structuring, working with Sales and other functions in the organization, with full understanding and impact on the quote to cash process. This person will be also involved in corporate FP&A processes such as reporting to the company board.




  • Support the Executive Head of Global Sales with all financial related decision making and act as business partner and trusted advisor to the Sales team
  • Provide input to Sales contracts and commercial bids review and assist business operations with RFP's and pricing proposals
  • Manage the process of reviewing, approving and processing contracts to ensure optimal profitability
  • Partner with Finance revenue recognition experts in order to ensure optimal deal structure
  • Advise on Insurance, risk management and partner with counsel on legal matters and assist in resolving commercial disputes
  • Provide financial planning and analysis to the Sales organization to drive strategic plans, annual operating plans, and other business initiatives and programs.
  • Manage and control Sales organization spending (operating and capital), staffing, and funding of Sales organization within budget guidelines
  • Build, lead and manage the annual budget cost centers, and control their expenses
  • Responsible for the Monthly forecast process and the respective managerial reporting
  • Develop KPIs and track trends of the Sales organization efficiencies
  • Participate in the month end close process. Provide comprehensive variance analysis including identification of trends, gaps and opportunity areas
  • Participate in preparation of presentations for Senior Management
  • Plan, facilitate and implement ad hoc analysis to support decision making
  • Serve as member of the FP&A team and be involved in preparation of corporate FP&A material for management and board meetings

  • Qualified Accountant
  • 7-10 years FP&A experience in software companies, SaaS highly desired
  • Experienced in US GAAP revenue recognition
  • High emotional intelligence - a problem solver and team player
  • Strong multi-tasking skills; organized and attentive to details
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly interface with all levels of management
  • Ready to work in a very dynamic and demanding environment
  • Must have a collaborative, organized, open and energetic work style
  • Collaborative business partner to management, experienced working with corporate Finance and FP&A in headquarters abroad
  • An analytical mind-set with a rigorous data-based analysis and decision making thought process
  • Advanced Excel skills, friendly access to ERP, CRM and EPM systems
