M&A Associate

My client is a market leading global financial services business. Through M&A and new business development, there is a substantial amount of transaction activity both current and anticipated within the division, so they are looking to add an M&A Associate to the team.

Key Responsibilities of the role; 

• Carry out finance due diligence on target entities and transactions
• Production of the finance reports assessing transactions
• Liaising with external advisers
• Managing relationships with senior stakeholders
• Liaising with technical specialists across the business and providing finance support
• Preparing financial analysis
• Building financial models

The Person: 

• Strong academic background, with a financial qualification such as ACA gained in a top tier practice firm (or equivalent).
• Transaction, M&A or financial due diligence experience, preferably within financial services.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven relationship and team builder - ability to
  influence in a complex, cross-functional environment
• Effective communication ability, analytical and conceptual skills
• Engaging and motivating
• Very good written and spoken English language skills are required.
