Commercial Finance Analyst

Our client, a dynamic private equity backed business, with a reputation for innovation and quality, is looking to source a confident and talented Commercial Finance Analyst to join its team. This is a newly created role, reporting to a Commercial Finance Manager with fantastic exposure to Director Level, providing 'best in class' financial bid support and driving revenue growth for the business.

You will be required to develop commercial bid structures and models to deliver winning bids and a fast moving and challenging environment. You will also work across a number of teams and disciplines to create commercial business cases and enable best of use of investment resources.

Main duties include:

* Support the monthly and annual business planning cycle of business forecast meetings to ensure pipeline data is accurately reflected
* Preparing monthly and ad hoc internal reporting of data, sales forecast analysis and other associated performance information
* Supporting sales reporting process across the business and engage effectively with management teams
* Performing financial and strategic evaluation of investment projects, utilising ROI to support and evaluate business cases
* Working with customer and bids teams to develop practical solutions
* Owning and constructing financial bid models
* Liaising with Sales and Legal teams to provide financial advice to maximise opportunities and assess commercial risk

Key skills and qualifications required:

* ACCA/CIMA finalist or newly qualified accountant
* Strong academic background
* Experience of bid modelling & contract costing
* Self-motivated, driven and positive attitude
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with finance and non-finance alike
* Flexibility to work in an evolving environment
* Demonstrates initiative and passion for adding value/driving profit
