My client, a large, Kent based FMCG business with significant growth plans, is currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join them for a 12 month contract. This role would suit a qualified accountant with strong communication skills, as the position will require you to build relationships both internally and externally.
Responsibilities will include:
-Preparation and processing of journals
-Collation, submission and reconciliation of VAT for the business
-Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
-Maintain the Fixed Asset registers in accordance with company financial policies
- Ensure appropriate Impairment procedures are developed, maintained and implemented for SOX compliance
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, able to hit the ground running within a busy finance department.
