As the Financial Accountant you will be reporting to the Senior Finance Manager in the core finance function for this multi-national insurance business. You will be leading a small team of finance professionals and expected to successful develop those individuals as they progress in their careers.

Description
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for leading a small team in the core finance function. You will need to have had exposure to staff management previously. As the Financial Accountant you will lead month end, pull together statutory accounts and be the main contact at year end for audits. More sector specific will be the review of potential investments with accordance to legal governance. Solvency II is the key reporting tool for this role, and previous knowledge is required for this role.
Profile
For this Financial Accountant role we are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) who has experience working with Solvency II, and sector specific experience within either insurance or Financial Services.
